In <br />this regard, on its certificate of insurance provided to the Emergency Services <br />Department, a sponsoring fire department shall indicate that its first <br />responders are covered and that Cabarrus Countybears no responsibility for the <br />actions of the respective sponsoring department. <br /> <br />Financing for the First Responder Program shall arise solely from funds received <br />by the sponsoring fire department derived from taxes upon property in its <br />respective rural fire protection district, i.e. no funds, if any, provided to <br />the sponsoring department by Cabarrus County other than the proceeds of the <br />respective rural fire protection district tax shall be used to support this <br />program. <br /> <br />SECTION 14: Charges <br /> <br />There will be no charge for services of a Cabarrus County first responder agency <br />or for individuals acting as a first responder. Donations may be accepted. <br /> <br />SECTION 15: The Cabarrus County First Responder Advisory Board <br /> <br />1. The Advisory Board will consist of the following members: <br /> <br />A. President or Vice-President of the Cabarrus County Firemen's <br /> Association. <br /> <br /> <br />
