The County allocation totaled $622,500.00 and included such <br />projects as the paving of thirteen (13) subdivision streets and three (3) rural <br />roads, the widening and resurfacing of Walker Road, the paving of the bay areas <br />at the Midland Volunteer Fire Department, and the upgrading of Rustic Lane, <br />Mullis Road Extension, and Huckleberry Trail. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Melvin, seconded by Commissioner Moss with <br />Commissioners Melvin, Moss and Hamby and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board <br />set a public hearing for 8:00 P.M. on Monday, May 21, 1990, for the final <br />presentation of the proposed 1990-1991 Secondary Road Program for Cabarrus <br />County. <br /> The Board reviewed the memorandum dated April 27, 1990, from Mr. Blair D. <br />Bennett, Finance Director, recommending the award of a one year contract to <br />Potter & Company for the preparation of the County's annual audit.
