Jones, Community Organization Representative, <br />and Mr. Eddie B. Durham, County Commissioners Representative, for two- <br />year terms ending June 30, 1992. <br /> <br />CENTRALINA PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL <br />Reappointed Ms. Jean Pherigo, Private Sector Representative, for a two <br />year term ending June 30, 1992. <br /> <br />Vacancy remains for the Organized Labor representative. <br /> <br />REGION F EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL <br />Reappointed Commissioner Martha Melvin to a two-year term ending June 30, <br />1992. <br /> <br />Appointed Mr. Aubrey Attkisson, Emergency Medical Services Director, to <br />a two-year term ending June 30, 1990. <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz recessed the meeting until the conclusion of the meeting <br />of the Board of Commissioners for the Water and Sewer District of Cabarrus <br />County. <br />Chairman Lentz reconvened the meeting of the Board of Commissioners. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Simmons with <br />Commissioners Hamby and Simmons and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board <br />designated Chairman Lentz as the official County delegate to the National <br />Association of Counties Annual Conference to be held in Dade County, Florida on <br />July 13-17, 1990. <br /> Mr. Fletcher L. Hartsell, Jr., County Attorney, reported that the County <br />Land Records Department and Concord Engineering and Surveying, Inc., were in the <br />process of negotiating an exchange of computer equipment. He requested <br />authorization to advertise for the exchange of the equipment. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Simmons with <br />Commissioners Hamby and Simmons and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board <br />authorized the County Attorney to advertise for the exchange of the following <br />equipment between the Cabarrus County Land Records Department and Concord <br />Engineering and Surveying, Inc. <br /> <br />Land Records Department <br />7580A Hewlett-Packard Pen Plotter (Serial No. 2051A00668) with a 24- <br />inch throat with less than 10 hours of use. An absolute dollar for <br />dollar value is impossible to attain due to the age of the <br />equipment.) <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Simmons with <br />Commissioners Hamby and Simmons and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board <br />authorized the County Attorney to proceed with negotiations for an agreement <br />with Environmental Management that would permit Cabarrus County to perform a <br />Water Quality Management Program similar to that in Mecklenburg County. <br /> <br /> <br />
