621 <br /> <br />Bond by giving thirty (30) days notice in writing to the Chairman <br />of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, Courthouse, Concord, <br />North Carolina, and this Bond shall be deemed cancelled at the <br />expiration of said thirty (30) days; the Surety remaining liable, <br />however, subject to all the terms, conditions and provisions of this <br />Bond, for any act or acts covered by this Bond which may have been <br />committed by the Principal up to date of such cancellation; and the <br />Surety shall, upon surrender of this Bond and its release from all <br />liability hereunder, refund the premium paid, less a prorata part <br />thereof for the time this Bond shall have been in force. <br /> <br />Witness: <br /> <br />Robert Murel Canaday <br />Principal <br /> <br />AS TO PRINCIPAL <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />THE NORTH RIVER INSURANCE COMPANY <br />By: <br /> <br />Attorney-in-Fact <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarry Gautney, Landfill Supervisor, reviewed the proposed amendment <br />to the "Ordinance Governing the Management of Solid Waste in Cabarrus County" <br />whereby private citizens would begin paying a fee at the Landfill or have <br />recyclable material in order to be exempted from the fee. <br /> Motion by Chairman Simmons to adopt the proposed amendment died for lack <br />of second. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter and <br />unanimously carried, the Board tabled consideration until the next meeting of <br />the proposed amendment to the "Ordinance Governing the Management of Solid Waste <br />in Cabarrus County" relative to the establishment of a recycling tipping fee <br />exemption policy. <br /> Mr. Ben Mabrey, Emergency Management Services Director, requested approval <br />of the Cold Water Fire Department and Georgeville Fire Department as First <br />Responder Agencies in Cabarrus County. He noted that approval of these <br />departments will bring the number of responder departments to 13 of the 15 rural <br />departments in the county. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved Cold Water Fire Department and <br />Georgeville Fire Department as First Responder Agencies in Cabarrus County. <br /> The Board received the following Certification relative to the Petition <br />received on November 5, 1990 for a Fire District Election for the Richfield <br />Misenheimer Fire District. <br /> CERTIFICATION <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> <br /> Before me the undersigned authorized person appeared, Kenneth <br />K.
