providing easement funding. The Agency easement purchase shall not exceed 50% of the <br />easement value. <br />The Grantee shall also submit a final grant report. Included in the final report, the Grantee shall <br />provide an accounting of final match claimed by the Grantee to fulfill the match requirement <br />mandated under N.C.G.S, 106-744(c1)(1). The Agency will retain 20% of the awarded grant <br />amount until the final report, including cash match and in-kind documentation and a copy of a <br />properly recorded easement, is received and approved by the Agency. The final report and all <br />invoices are due by the 10th of the month following the ending date of the contract and shall be paid <br />within 60 days of the contract end date. If the final report, all invoices, and supporting <br />documentation have not been received by the 101h of the month following the ending date of the <br />contract the Grantee may not receive reimbursement and shall be considered ineligible for <br />reimbursement. After recording the "Conservation Easement" in the Register of Deeds Office, the Grantee shall <br />annually notify the landowner and conduct a monitoring visit to the property to ensure that the <br />easement agreement is being upheld. If structures are permitted under the easement, the Grantee <br />shall review plans and monitor construction for compliance with the plans. Grantee monitoring shall <br />be completed in accordance with the Agency "Conservation Easement Monitoring Policy and <br />Guidelines' and amendments thereto. The Grantee shall complete and submit to the Agency the <br />"Grantee Monitoring Checklist — Perpetual or Term Easement" to report its annual monitoring <br />findings. The first "Grantee Monitoring Checklist — Perpetual or Term Easement" is due by <br />December 31 of the following calendar year after the "Conservation Easement" recording, and <br />annually thereafter. <br />g. The Grantee shall complete all reports in a prescribed format, which shall be provided by the <br />Agency. Reports and required documentation must be up-to-date in order for the Grantee to <br />receive payments. <br />h. All publicity and printed material regarding projects or activities supported in whole or in part by this <br />shall contain the following language: "The project received support from the NC ADFP Trust Fund." <br />The NCDA&CS ADFP Trust Fund logo (digital versions of which can be downloaded from the <br />Agency website at www.ncadfp.org) shall be displayed in all the Grantee's publicity and printed <br />materials relating to this grant. <br />i. Non-compliance of grantee duties will result in an immediate suspension of existing Agency grant <br />funding, and the Grantee shall be ineligible for further Agency grants until the noncompliance is <br />corrected and the Agency has acknowledged the correction and the Grantee is in good standing. <br />V. Agency's Duties: <br />The Agency shall provide the grantee with their eligibility classification status based upon the <br />required reporting period as noted under "Grantee Duties' above. Grantee payments shall be <br />reflected by eligibility classification status subject to the Agency policy. <br />The Agency shall pay the Grantee in the manner and in the amounts specified in the Contract <br />Documents.
