The new rate will be $39 per ton effective July 1, 2018. <br />This effects individual household municipal solid waste delivered to the County <br />C&D Landfill. A revised fee schedule is being proposed to cover the increased <br />tipping fees, County labor, fuel and vehicle maintenance costs to deliver the <br />household municipal solid waste to the Charlotte Motor Speedway Landfill. The <br />proposed Construction and Demolition Waste tipping fee increase to $2 per ton <br />of construction and demolition waste delivered to the County C&D Landfill is to <br />cover operating costs of the Construction and Demolition Landfill.
