Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Minutes <br />October 11, 2022 <br />Mr. Lewis has talked with the bank. <br />Ms. Grimsley said do they realize that youback and forth? <br />Mr. Lewis said they said as long as there is an easement. <br />Ms. Grimsley thought you all said there was no easementwritten anywhere. <br />Mr. Lewis said there is an easement, there is two easements. <br />Ms. Grimsley said and easement or a right of way? <br />Mr. Lewis said there is an easement and a right of way. The right of way goes up the side of his <br />property. She was saying that George behind me owns some land,and he wanted my landto get <br />to his land.Well, hehas a 60 foot right of way to get to his land. <br />The Chair thinks the question she is <br />driveway for your access or are you going to create a new driveway access for your lot off either <br />Highway 24/27 or one of those other right of ways? <br />Mr. Lewis said he is not using the existing driveway. <br />The Chair asked Ms. Grimsley if that answered her question. <br />Ms. Grimsley said it does,butshe is curious and asked where he is going to put it. How are you <br />going to access your house not using their driveway? <br />Mr. Lewissaid (showed on the diagram) on this land right here, I can cut these trees down and <br />have my driveway come inhere. Right now,I am coming up through here,using the right of way <br />here to come inbecause he does to want to cross their property. So,I do not come down this way <br />and come in, I come in from here because Mark Morgan who lives here, gave me permission to <br />use the right of way, the easement therebecause he has right to use it. He said (Mark Morgan) <br />as far as he is concerned,I can come through here too. <br />He said Mark the one right there on the other side of me,heis kin to George who lives behind <br />Mark said he does not have a problem with me cutting across right <br />here (showed on diagram). <br />Ms. Grimsley askedMr. Lewis to show her where the percsiteis located. <br />Mr. Lewis said right here at this oak tree, this whole bottom part right here (showed on diagram), <br />that whole field. Hewas going to put his house right there,butnowhe has to back it up to here. <br />Ms. Grimsley asked why he had to back it up. <br />13 <br /> <br />
